WP1.3: Integrating climate models and paleoclimatic data

WP1.3 objectives

• To perform simulations with data assimilation over the present and past interglacials, and evaluate the quality of those simulations.
• To use proxy modeling to improve the interpretation of proxies, and data assimilation to check the dynamical consistency of reconstructions based on proxy records.
• To assess the ability of climate models to reproduce the observed climate changes during the present and past interglacials.
